Erin began her yoga journey 20 years ago, and since then her path has been full of many twists and turns, but yoga has remained a constant. Her practice has mirrored the shifting and flowing that life presents – and after leaving a high stress job in Washington, DC she and her husband moved to Austin, TX where she knew she wanted to pursue yoga teacher training. She received her 200 hour hatha yoga teacher certification in 2007, and has been teaching in many different environments since then. Erin’s style is nurturing, warm, thorough, inclusive and fun. She has taught a variety of classes including vinyasa flow, prenatal, gentle/restorative and deep therapeutic stretch, and beginners’ series. Erin and her family have lived in various places – Austin, Northern VA, and Pittsburgh, PA. While in Pittsburgh, Erin opened a yoga studio that she successfully owned and operated for 5 years, creating an amazing community of yogis. Ultimately the impact of the pandemic on both her studio and her husband’s work resulted in an unexpected but exciting move to the Atlanta area in August of 2021 where they now happily reside in Roswell. Erin’s yogic path has led her to pursuing becoming a certified Yoga Therapist, and she is currently in her third year and working as a Yoga Therapy Intern. Outside of her yoga world, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband, daughters, mom and 11 pets (all under one sweet roof). She loves cooking, live music and traveling back to Austin for training (and fun). She is honored and excited to be a part of Amy Lloyd Yoga & Wellness!
