Meet MonikaMonika Senanayake graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Georgia State University. Post-graduation, she was offered and accepted a position as a fitness tech at the Wellness Center and as an exercise physiologist at Dekalb Medical's Heart Wellness Center.
She pursued a career in massage therapy and graduated from the Atlanta School of Massage. |
A nationally certified massage therapist, Monika is a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP).
Monika specializes in neuromuscular, deep tissue, and sports massage. She has experience working with athletes in 2006 and 2007 she worked with the Atlanta Falcons massage team with Body Mechanics. Monika has worked abroad in Bermuda at a luxury spa where she developed sports massage and wellness programs for her clients. During her time on the island, she had the opportunity to rehabilitate and massage numerous athletes, such as, golfers, runners, and triathletes.
Her endless energy, hard work and compassion are a vital part of the love for her profession. By integrating strong ethics with her massage training, she can bring prominent quality care and well-being to her clients in an atmosphere of her professionalism. During Monika's leisure time she enjoys reading and being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
