A Return to Practice

If you have done yoga you are familiar with the literal ebb and flow of the practice. Like most things in life, there are times we feel the great inspiration to return to the mat and other times in life when we step back.

We could call these “excuses" but let’s not place negative blame on ourselves today, ok?

Gentleness.

As a Psychotherapist, I have had the great privilege of witnessing my clients’ journey to healing. Through gained awareness, these individuals begin to observe old patterns which do not serve them as adults and learn a valuable gift: to be gentle with themselves.

It is through this gentleness we begin to forgive ourselves and become more open to new opportunities in trusting our many feelings and emotions.

Getting back to practice whether it’s in therapy or yoga comes more easily when offered as a gentle lead. And, if you are seeking support in mind/body health we’re here to support your journey.

In well health,
Amy
